Natural Horsemanship Association
of Northern Nevada
    The Natural Horsemanship Association of Norther Nevada is a group of horse enthusiast from all disciplines
    dedicated to helping horses and humans improve communication, understanding and performance by:

Educating the human to better understand the horses natural behavior and thus it point of view.

Helping the human to develop a relationship and partnership with the horse based on Fair, Firm and Friendly
communication that promotes Fun and Safety;

Providing educational offering and fun activities promoting Natural Horsemanship for member and the public.

    We have members in the Reno area from teenagers to grandmothers and Grandfathers, from beginners to very
    advanced riders, western, English and bareback riders, from the casual trail rider to endurance riders, to
    professional horse trainers. The one thing we all have in common is the desire to understand our horses better and
    build better relationships with them.

    Meetings  The first Thursday of every month

    Our meetings service as a regular place for members to come together and share ideas, knowledge, triumphs, and
    trials.  Each meeting features a guest speaker, presentation by a member or sometimes video -- all are designed to
    address different issues of importance to horse enthusiasts, especially those who want to ride, care and place with
    their horses naturally.

    The Association also arranges Play Days for members, the only charge for our get together  is usually a contribution
    to a Pot Luck.  Along with our Play Days sometimes members arrange for outside clinicians, there may be additional
    costs for a clinic depending upon the clinician.
